Mrs Robyn Julie

Robyn has been a part of the Glenridge family since 2000, she believes that any time spent with family is worth every second.  Robyn has 90 children during the week and three children in the afternoon and on weekends! In her spare time, she loves reading and crafting. She also enjoys going for walks but admits that she is terrified of frogs. Shhhh! After spending many years teaching Grade 0/00 and 000 children, Robyn took over the Principal position in 2017 and she believes that Glenridge Pre Primary School is the best place to be. A special place where a person can create happy, lifelong memories and skills for life.

A few words from the Principal

As the principal, I view myself as being extremely privileged to lead Glenridge Pre Primary, a school that has excelled as an early childhood education centre for over 70 years.

Glenridge has always and continues to offer quality education to all of the children in our care, preparing them for their lives ahead. What began as the vision of a group of mothers in a garage has proved its longevity and is to this day developing young minds and bodies to be the best that they can be.

Glenridge stands proudly as one of the oldest preschools in KwaZulu-Natal and is a member of ISASA (Independent School’s of SA). Both our children and staff benefit from custom-built facilities that are perfectly designed to meet the physical, intellectual and social needs of young children. The school is in fact designed in such a way that the children are in full view no matter where they are playing. Free movement is possible between the areas and our garden layout is the envy of many similar institutions. We are spoilt with an abundance of indigenous trees and we certainly realise that this is an asset that needs to be preserved.

Glenridge has developed considerably since its humble beginnings so long ago. The greatest gift that we can give the children of the future is to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our greater community for at least another 70 years.

I thank all connected to Glenridge, past and present, for their continued support and trust that our school will grow from strength to strength in the future.
