Lungisile started working at Glenridge in 1994, performing general domestic duties. Over the years, she has shown outstanding commitment to her job, but it became increasingly evident that her real value lies in the classroom with the children. She now fulfills the role of a full time teacher’s assistant and Isizulu teacher and she is an invaluable member of our staff. Lungisile has five children of her own and 4 grandchildren. She also offers financial and emotional support to three other children who have found themselves in difficult circumstances. She is deeply committed to her church, is the youth leader, and is highly respected in her community, whose members recognise her kindness and infinite wisdom.
